Rum & Chocolate Tasting

A rum and chocolate tasting session covers the historical aspects of the sugar trade also the different stages of production, styles of rum, and the versatility of rum as an alcoholic beverage.

Sugarcane and cocoa are both grown in the same tropical climate and therefore have many similarities. Fine/flavour cocoa found in the Caribbean Islands stands out from the competition, it has unique flavour and quality attributes quite different from those found in typical bulk cocoa.

Giarimi Design introduce the perfect rum tasting glass, developed in collaboration with Duane Dove, a sommelier with a passion for aged rums and fine chocolates.

The elegant crystal glass, which we have named "Cane Tulip" after its engraving inspired by sugar canes, comes in a beautiful box printed in chocolate brown and gold.
